I was born and raised in Billings, MT and graduated from Montana State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a math endorsement. I also hold a master’s degree in reading instruction from MSU-Billings, and a Trauma Informed Specialist certificate from the Center for Social Resilience.
My first seven years as a public school educator were spent teaching reading and math to middle schoolers, and then for three years I was a reading and math interventionist for lower elementary-aged children before deciding to start my own preschool so I could stay home with my children. They are now in school, but I really enjoy early childhood education and have chosen to continue with my preschool rather than going back to public schools.
My favorite hobbies/passions include gardening flowers and vegetables, singing, natural medicine, garage saleing, and staying busy, as I also sing in two groups and run my own online resell business.
